UNDER CONSTRUCTION
Published: August 19, 2010

Beginning August 23rd the Illinois Department of Transportation will begin resurfacing Jackson Street. Over the next several weeks the street will be resurfaced, and there will be a significant amount of construction along the entry and exits to the parking lot at the high school, at the intersection of Illinois Street and along the front of the junior high. Staff and students should use extra caution as the construction proceeds and allow for extra time, since there will be periods of one lane traffic in either direction.

Hopefully, the work will progress quickly, and the inconveniences will be as small as possible, but with the cooperation and support of our schools and community the work can proceed safely and the end result can be of benefit for all.

Thank you for your cooperation, understanding, and patience regarding this construction project.

Sincerely,
Dennis Johnson, Principal
Morton High School
