Morton CUSD 709 is pleased to be the recipient of federal funding through Title I and Title II programming. Title 1 funding is used to support and enhance math instruction at Grundy and Jefferson through the use of staff members, materials, supplies and equipment. Title II funding this year (12-13) is used to support an overflow classroom teacher at Lincoln Elementary (this funding can vary from year to year depending upon need and enrollment.) Jefferson Elementary School - Visit Website

Jefferson Elementary School, home of the Patriots, serves students from kindergarten through sixth grade. The school's stately wood and brick structure adds historical character to the neighborhood. Jefferson was constructed in 1928 and has served many of our students' parents, grandparents, and extended family throughout its 84 years.
