Morton CUSD 709 is pleased to be the recipient of federal funding through Title I and Title II programming. Title 1 funding is used to support reading and enhance math instruction. Title 1 funds pay for supplemental  staff members, materials, supplies and equipment. The Title 1 plans are in place at Grundy for targeted students and schoolwide at Jefferson. Title II funding this year  is used to support an overflow classroom teacher at Lincoln Elementary (this funding can vary from year to year depending upon need and enrollment.) District K-12 Registration

A district registration form should be completed for all new students entering the district. Form details student, family and previous school information.

DVD Order Form

Use this form when ordering a DVD copy of an event taped by the MPTV crew.

Home Language Survey

The State Board of Education requires that school districts administer a "Home Language Survey" to each student entering the District's schools for the purpose of identifying students of non-English background.

Local Homeless Education Liaison Toolkit

Local liaisons using this resource will improve schools' effectiveness in working with homeless children and youth through identification, provision of appropriate services, and increased awareness and sensitivity among school personnel working with homeless students.

School Medication Authorization

All medications to be administered during school hours are to be kept in the office in the original container. A medication authorization form, which details the administration of the medications, must be signed by a parent. The required form is filed in the office. An asthma inhaler, which can be kept in a student's or teacher's possession, is the only exception, as indicated by the required medication authorization.

Special Education Release Form

The Special Education Record Release grants permission to release special education records or secure records from another school or agency.
