Ms. Dole
I have taught in the Computer Lab at Lettie Brown since 2002. When I'm not helping students on the computers at Brown, I enjoy spending time with my family. My three sons all attended Lettie Brown Grade School! In my free time, I enjoy making jewelry, gardening, watching movies, and playing cards and games with my husband and the rest of the family.
Mission for the Class
In the computer lab, we strive to reinforce with technology what is taught in the classroom. Our goal is to help our students to become comfortable with and more knowledgeable about technology to prepare them for the ever-increasing importance of technology in our world.
Ms. Shook
Each Grundy Gator comes to the computer lab at least once every week. During that class time, students work on projects or use educational software programs to reinforce topics taught in the classroom. Second through sixth grade students also use computer lab time to practice their keyboarding skills. This helps them to work toward achieving the district sixth grade exit goal of 20 wpm with 90% accuracy.
In our lab students have an opportunity to learn how to use hardware including printers, scanners, digital cameras, digital video recorders and so on. We have a lot of fun in computer lab, while also learning skills that are becoming more important everyday in our lives!
Outside of school I have been married to my husband, Michael, since 1998. We both grew up in Northeast Ohio and have also lived in Ann Arbor, MI before settling in Morton. We have 2 children who graduated from Morton schools and one who is a current High School student. We are blessed to live in the Morton community!
