My name is Morgan Bush and I am the School Social Worker for the Early Childhood program at Grundy Elementary School and another supporting social worker at Lincoln Elementary School. I am a two-time graduate from Illinois State University, receiving my Bachelor's in Psychology in May 2020 and my Master's in Social Work in May 2023. I did my master's internship here in the Morton School District and am so excited to continue being a part of the 709 family. I am passionate about working with children and social-emotional wellbeing. I look forward to working with the amazing kids and families in Morton!!

I have worked as a School Social Worker since 2017 after graduating with my master's degree from U of I. I am passionate about providing our students with social emotional support to help them be successful in school and throughout their lifetime.

I live here in Morton with my family and I love this community. I am so grateful for the opportunity to serve our Grundy students and families!

Mrs. Steiner is the school social worker at Lettie Brown Elementary School. She graduated from Western Illinois University with a bachelor’s of science degree in special education. Prior to graduating with a Master’s in social work from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana in May 2017, Mrs. Steiner was a special education teacher and has taught in the Rock Island/Milan 41 District, Sherrard Unit 200 District, and River bend District. Mrs. Steiner is excited to be a part of the Morton 709 district and community. She is married to her husband, Andrew, and they have one daughter, Charlotte. In her free time, Mrs. Steiner loves spending time with her family, playing sports, drinking coffee, and reading a good book.

I feel very honored to have the opportunity to work in such a wonderful district.  I look forward to working with all of the students, parents, and staff in the Morton community.
